A policeman was killed after militants attacked police party in Bijbehara in district Anantnag district today at 9. 30 pm.
Reports said that militants opened fire upon a police party near the police station Bijbehara resulting in injuries to a constable.

The injured cop identified as Arif Ahmad (belt no. 1922/A), a resident of Safakadal, Srinagar was immediately shifted to Bijbehara hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.
