Demands extension of Exam Date Sheet of Under Graduate Courses:

Today Students of G.G.M. Science College under the banner of G.G.M. Science College Students Union held protest demonstration against the University. The main agenda of the protest was the date sheet of exam which was out by Jammu University. The protest was led by Vikram Singh Chib.
Addressing the media persons Vikram said that in Semester there is minimum 6 months class work including exams but now here in college there is only 30-35 days of class work which was totally against the semester system, so there is minimum 4 months of class work, so that students can go for their classes and faculty members finished with their syllabus.
Vikram said that due to one month of class work, teachers were not able to finished with the syllabus and some of the teachers for finishing the syllabus left some of the syllabus. For which students were suffered a lot due to non-completence of the syllabus.
Vikram further demanded that there must be minimum 4 months of class work so that students and the teachers get on to the syllabus completely and therefore the exam datesheet of undergraduate courses should be extended so that the teachers and students get time to complete the syllabus. And we continue our protest against the university until the datesheet would not extended.
