Pulwama, May 02: Two militants have been killed in an encounter between militants and government forces at Dangerpora area in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Saturday
An official told that a joint team of forces, including 55RR of Army and CRPF launched a cordon and search operation at Dangerpora area after they had specific input about the presence of some militants in the area.
“As they approached the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon them, which was retaliated, triggering an encounter. Exchange of fire has stopped and search is going on,” he said.
An Official also said that two unidentified militants has been killed & there bodies have been recovered,Clashes were also repoted from the area ,he added
Meanwhile, in view of encounter authorities have also suspended mobile Internet services in district Pulwama as precautionary measure.
