Awami Ittihaad Party (AIP) has announced its first list of candidates to contest Assembly Elections 2014 . Pertinently, the list of candidates announced includes Amirakadal Constituency from Srinagar, Shangus, Tral and Bandipora Assembly constituencies . As per the statement by the AIP issued to Sachnews Jammu Kashmir, after brainstorming sessions of working committee, the AIP announced its first list of its candidates to contest the upcoming Assembly elections 2014-
Zeeshan Pandith, a dynamic educationist will contest from the prestigious Amirakadal Constituency. A well known name in the world of social activism and State Secretary of Awami Ittihaad Party Tanveer Hussain Khan has been fielded from Shangus Assembly Constituency. Well known legal personality and eminent socio- political Activist, Advocate Nazir Ahmad Malik has been fielded from Bandipora Assembly Constituency. Abdul Rashid Dar a well-known name in the world of bureaucracy and senior citizen has been fielded from the volatile Tral Constituency.
