Shopian, August 18:
Shopian police under the supervision of Dy. Superintendent of Police Zainapora Mumtaz Ali recovered 400 bottles of codeine at Heff Shirmal on Monday night.
Police laid a naka and apprehended two persons and recovered the illicit drugs from a Tata sumo ( JK 02Q -8733) The apprehended persons have been identified as Bashir Ahmad Ganie and Shahzad Ahmad Ganie both residents of Tahab ,Pulwama.
Police has registered an FIR under No. 72/2014 under section 8/21 NDPS Act against the accused persons.
